Our commitment. Mister Kaki wants every visitor, including people with disabilities, to be able to use this site and book our service independently. We treat accessibility as part of the service and keep improving it.
Standard. The site aims to meet Israeli Standard IS 5568, which is based on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 at level AA, as required by the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 2013.
What we have done.
- Clear headings and marked page regions, so screen readers can move around each page
- The whole site works with a keyboard alone, and the keyboard focus is always visible
- Images that carry meaning have text alternatives
- The videos are decorative. They are muted and have no sound or speech
- Every video has a labelled pause and play button that works with a keyboard, and a video you pause stays paused
- Text and background colours were checked for contrast
- Text can be zoomed to 200% without losing content
- Every form field has a label
- A full Hebrew version in right-to-left layout, and an English version
How we checked. Every page was tested with an automated WCAG 2.1 AA checker (axe), at phone and desktop sizes. A manual check with a keyboard, a screen reader and zoom is planned.
Known limits.
- The game uses dragging and a time limit, so some visitors may find it hard or impossible to play. The game is optional. Nothing on the site or in our service depends on it.
- The video clips are decorative and carry no information. They have no captions or audio description because they contain no sound or speech.
